Onirium brings together players from all over the world in a shared world built on competition, cooperation and adventure.
To keep this experience fair and enjoyable for everyone, we have established a set of rules that apply to all players at all times.
The Onirium team reserves the right to act against any behavior that disrupts the game, the website or any other part of our services.
Depending on the severity and frequency of the violation, consequences may include: warnings, temporary ban, or permanent ban.
Permanent bans may lead to character deletion after a period of time. In cases where a violation caused imbalance in the game world,
additional measures may be taken, such as adjustment of character attributes, removal of items obtained through rule-breaking, or character deletion.
| a) Offensive Name |
Names that are insulting, racist, sexually explicit, drug-related, harassing or otherwise inappropriate. |
| b) Advertising Name |
Names that promote external brands, services, other game servers, or real-money trading. |
| c) Inappropriate Name |
Names that express political or religious views, or that are otherwise unsuitable for the game environment. |
| d) Invalid Format |
Names made up of random letter combinations, sentence fragments, or poorly formatted strings (e.g. "Xhausdwq", "Ma-th'eus") are not permitted. |
| e) Incitement Through Name |
Names that encourage or suggest rule-breaking behavior, such as "Autobot" or "Hacker". |
| f) Impersonating Staff |
Names that suggest an affiliation with the Onirium team, such as those containing "GM", "Admin" or "Tutor", are reserved for actual staff members. |
| a) Offensive Statement |
Insults, slurs, sexually explicit content, harassment or any message that is generally objectionable. Statements containing real-life threats against other players are treated as a serious violation and will result in severe punishment. |
| b) Spamming |
Repeatedly sending identical or very similar messages, flooding channels with meaningless content, or using text in a way that disrupts normal communication. |
| c) Advertising |
Promoting external servers, products, services or websites in-game or on the forum. Offering or requesting real-money trades for in-game items or accounts is strictly forbidden. |
| d) Off-Topic Statement |
Statements of a political or religious nature in public channels, or messages that have no relation to the context of the channel or forum board being used. |
| e) Sharing Personal Data |
Disclosing personal information about other players, such as real names, addresses or contact details, without their consent. |
| f) Encouraging Rule Violations |
Messages that support, encourage, announce or imply a violation of the Onirium Rules, whether directed at one player or the community as a whole. |
| g) Blocking Protection Zones |
Deliberately positioning your character to prevent other players from entering or exiting a protection zone. |
| h) Blocking on Rookgaard |
Blocking passages on Rookgaard in a way that traps or prevents new players from moving freely. This is treated as a progressive violation. |
| a) Bug Abuse |
Intentionally exploiting errors or unintended mechanics in the game or any other part of Onirium services. Bugs should be reported through the proper channels, not used for personal gain. |
| b) Unofficial Software |
Using unauthorized third-party programs while playing Onirium, including tools running in the background. Modifying the official client or injecting additional software into it is also a violation. Running the client inside virtual machines may be flagged under this rule. Violations may result in banishment across all accounts linked to the offender. |
| c) Multi-clienting |
Only one character per person may be online at any given time, regardless of how many devices or connections are used. Logging out of a character that cannot safely log out in order to bring another online is also a violation of this rule. |
| d) Automation |
Any method that allows a character to act without a person actively controlling it is prohibited. The game includes an anti-bot verification system — when prompted, you must respond within the given time limit or your account will be flagged automatically. |
| e) VPN / Proxy Abuse |
Using VPNs, proxies or similar tools to mask your real IP address while playing is not allowed. Connections routed through data centers, Tor exit nodes or known proxy services will be automatically blocked. |
| a) Impersonating Staff |
Claiming to be a member of the Onirium team or pretending to hold staff powers or permissions that you do not have. |
| b) Spreading Misinformation |
Intentionally spreading false information about Onirium, its team, or its services, or attempting to organize boycotts based on false premises. |
| c) False Reports |
Submitting reports, complaints or support requests that contain deliberately false or misleading information. |
| d) Threatening Staff |
Any form of threat, whether direct or implied, against members of the Onirium team will not be tolerated. Attempts to pressure or blackmail staff are treated with the same severity. |
| e) Defamation |
Publishing false or damaging statements about Onirium or its staff, whether in-game, on the forum, or on external platforms, may result in account punishment. |
| a) Account Theft |
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to another player's account through phishing, deception or any other method. |
| b) Attacking Onirium Services |
Any attempt to disrupt, attack or damage the operation of Onirium's servers, website or any other part of its infrastructure. |
| c) Fraudulent Payment |
Payments made with fraudulent means, including chargebacks or stolen payment methods, will result in immediate account suspension and reversal of any benefits obtained. |
| d) Violating Applicable Law |
Any action that violates local or international law, or infringes on the rights of third parties, is prohibited regardless of whether it is explicitly covered by these rules. |
| a) Excessive Player Killing |
Unjustified kills are tracked automatically. Accumulating enough kills within the time windows below will trigger skulls or banishment:
